GRAPHICS

8.5 out of 10

The visual candy in Nanosaur is very good.  This game uses Macintosh technologies like QuickDraw 3D to its fullest in generating realistic shading, skins, and fog effects.
My iMac 333 played the graphics extremely smoothly, showing all of the fine details in the environment and the low lying fog.  Explosions are crystal clear and not pixilated.

ACTORS

9 out of 10
The dinosaurs in Nanosaur are complete with distinct movements and eye caching skins.  They show distinct behaviors and possess some intelligence.  The restless Tyrannosauruses are always searching for a meal and use their sight to guide them to their next feast, which just happens to mean YOU.  All in all, these dinosaurs are fun to blow up are just run away from.

SOUNDS AND MUSIC
8 out of 10
The sound is as complete with fast paced music and sharp sound effects. Background noises include distant dinosaur calls, and running water.

GAMEPLAY
6 out of 10

You are a dinosaur from the future, you are equipped with several pieces of technology to help you in your mission, these include the following:

You can jump, swim, run around, jet around, shoot stuff, etc. The general rule to playing the game is "if it moves, kill it or it'll kill you." You only
have 20 minutes to collect all 5 egg species so being efficient about your actions is critical.

All in all, gameplay in this game becomes a little stale after some time. The designers tried to counter this effect by picking up the pace of the came and throwing in a few more challenges.  These do help the game.  The count down clock is a nice touch that forces the player to pass through the map in under 20 minutes.
